Computer Generated Solutions Launches Bluecherry 5.0

The next generation in global ERP solutions

NEW YORK, NY - February 1, 2005 - Computer Generated Solutions, Inc. (CGS) today released BlueCherry 5.0, the next generation offering of BlueCherry Enterprise - a robust suite of multi-platform enterprise resources planning (ERP), supply chain management (SCM) and sales automation systems specifically designed to meet the needs of soft goods manufacturers, distributors and retailers. Over 100 leading apparel and footwear clients are currently running their business on the BlueCherry suite of solutions.

  • BlueCherry now meets many globalization requirements by providing multi-currency and multi-language interfaces, as well as being able to meet taxation requirements of the various countries in which BlueCherry clients sell their products.
  • 2005 is being called the "big bang" in the Apparel Industry - as most global tariffs and quotas go away. BlueCherry 5.0 has been optimized to meet many of these new sourcing demands.

Tighter integration with Microsoft

  • BlueCherry has been completely re-optimized to an even greater level of integration with the Microsoft Platform - allowing clients to take full advantage of the developments advances in the Microsoft Office Suite and infrastructure products.
  • As a Microsoft Gold Level Partner, CGS partners with Microsoft in the pioneering application of Microsoft's latest programming tools to CGS's vertical industry applications.
